The Diablo Municipal Advisory Council (DMAC), established by the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors on June 25, 1996 by Resolution 96/314, represents the Diablo community to the Contra Costa County Department of Conservation & Development (County) in matters pertaining to land use, planning and zoning. DMAC’s authority is advisory and has no binding authority. Final decisions on these matters rest with the County.
DMAC is comprised of a 5-member Board, which is, by definition, the DCSD Board of Directors.
DMAC meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm immediately following the regular DCSD meeting, but only when there are applications or permits to be reviewed. Currently meetings are held via Zoom due to the pandemic. Meeting and agenda information is below.
Questions concerning Diablo land use applications, permits or zoning should be emailed to the General Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
